Thanks to the collaborative efforts of One Day Came, Dash Coordinating and Marketing, and Skanska, Stewart Middle Magnet School has revitalized mentorship for its young men. This month marked the launch of the Next Gen Leaders Mentorship Program, bringing together members from various organizations with a shared mission—empowering the next generation through mentorship.
The program includes dedicated mentors from Project Link, Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Church, Men of Vision, Miracle Temple Institutional Church of God in Christ, Inc., Skanska, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. These leaders meet every Wednesday with a group of 7th-grade boys, providing a safe space for meaningful discussions on critical topics, embracing vulnerability, and fostering personal growth.
By uniting community leaders, this initiative aims to shape confident, capable young men who will go on to lead in their communities and beyond.
