Skanska and One Day Came, Inc. proudly honored the memory of beloved HCPS educator Coach Linda Wells at the school’s annual Turkey Trot and Raffle. This cherished tradition, started by Coach Wells many years ago, embodies her deep commitment to supporting students and families in need.
To continue her legacy of care and compassion, the group donated 100 turkeys and various giveaways for the raffle, bringing comfort and joy to the community during the Thanksgiving season. Additionally, the group organized lunch for students and staff — a heartfelt tribute to the Thanksgiving tradition Coach Wells lovingly established.
Coach Wells dedicated more than 30 years to the HCPS school system, including over 20 years at Stewart Middle Magnet School. Her unwavering dedication to her students and her community continues to inspire, leaving an enduring impact on all who had the privilege to know her.
