Edith Randolph is a native of West Tampa, FL. She attended Dunbar and Just Elementary before graduating from Blake High School in 1970. Her determination to lead showed early — she served as captain of the Howard Majorettes, was crowned Miss Blake, attended Florida A&M University (FAMU), and went on to become a sought-after dance coach and gymnastics instructor.

She remembers the immense impact the community had on shaping who she was — and who she would later become. She believes community is critical in shaping generations of leaders, and hopes that as times change, the heart of community stays strong.

Even in retirement, she continues to show up today as a leader, an advocate, and a good neighbor.
